New Chimney Liner Manufacturer Offers a Wealth of Experience, Products and Innovation
WILLISTON, VT - New England Chimney Supply is a new company, but its leadership is made up of trusted individuals who have earned the respect of their peers in the chimney industry.
The New England Supply team brings more than 70 years of combined experience in the chimney industry to Williston, Vermont. "We are a new corporation with many of the same people you have come to know and trust for years, and we can be visited or reached at a convenient location in Williston," said owners Pierre Simard and John Parot. Simard has built his reputation based on his knowledge and expertise in the chimney liner supply business. He raised a manufacturing division from the ground up in the Northeast and brought the sales and production of liner systems to a national level in 13 years. "Through the years, I have learned what it takes to build a successful manufacturing / distribution business, the key is having truly talented individuals on the team," he said. "While having one or a couple of superstars can create a company; it is not until the organization becomes team-oriented and starts operating like a well-oiled machine that true success can be accomplished." Simard likes to lead by example. He and Parot are onsite working with their employees and customers every day. "My philosophy in both business and life is to treat others as I would want to be treated," he said. "Business is not a win or lose situation, it is not until you treat your customers as a vital part of your team and you strive to create a relationship that is fair on both sides, that you can truly create long-term sustainable relationships from customers, to vendors, to friends. Parot has more than 20 years of experience sweeping and lining chimneys. He offers his expertise on improving tolerances and the quality of products being offered. "John is considered one of the most respected technical advisors in the chimney industry," Simard said. "If you couple his technical knowledge with his field experience you have a very powerful tool for our customer base to pull from. John enjoys working with code enforcement officials on behalf of the customers and has gotten more than a few customers out of a jam when they ran into a road block on a difficult liner installation."
Pierre Simard, Claudette Simard and Gary Bashaw head up the customer service part of the NECS Team. "We really get to know our customers," Bashaw said. "We learn their product preferences so that when they call and ask for a chimney cap we already know what brand they prefer." Customers are not just a number; they are a member of the New England Chimney Supply team. "If a customer doesn't have a catalog in front of them we have the knowledge and expertise to complete an order with no part numbers while making sure the product shows up correct, on time, every time," Pierre Simard said.
